Gas Prices Drop to major low

The gas prices have droppped to a major low which is a good thing right? If you went to kansas City, you would find that gas is as low as $1.39 a gallon. the average retail cost across the nation is about $1.98. this is definitely a starting point in a shot to bring the economy back, but its not going to be enough, at least not now. the last time that gas prices were this low was back in 2004. The economy wasn’t so bad back then either.

So how does this drop in gas costs for the average consumer amount to anything? Well as of now $300 billion in savings for American consumers and businesses is not too bad. Why couldn’t this have happened a while ago when we needed it. It’s simple. Its all politic bullcrap.

Check out the chart below for a full look at the prices over years since 1980.
