Yet another bonus from E*trade for opening a Complete Savings Account. E-trade is offering a $25 bonus which is good through 2/25/2009. It looks as if all you will need to deposit is $1 to receive your $25 bonus. There are however some restrictions and requirements in order to benefit from this.

E-trade has some of the most competitive savings account rates, and have had them for a while now. You might also consider Etrade’s checking account rates on the signature Max-Rate Checking, which has not been so good, as it only pays 1.50% APY for balances over $5,000.

E-trade also has bank cd accounts as well which you might take a look at as an alternative. The 5-year CD APY is only 1.70% but still pays more than the E-trade checking account.
